Job Description
📍 Based in Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
📄 Visa Sponsorship: We offer sponsorship under specific treaty-based U.S. work visas, including TN and E-2 (for eligible Canadian, Mexican, and French citizens). We do not support or transfer other visa types (e.g., H-1B).
We are looking for a Pega Engineer with strong Java expertise to support the design, development, and rollout of key features for one of our financial-services clients. The role focuses on Pega’s Smart Investigate module while also contributing to Java-based integrations and backend logic, enabling scalable and secure solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack applications with strong focus on security, design, validation, and SDLC standards
- Leverage Java for backend components, integrations, and custom extensions of Pega applications
- Collaborate with product managers, business operations, and engineering teams to define product requirements and objectives
- Participate in system design and platform architecture discussions
- Build resilient, scalable, and secure modules leveraging cloud-native services
- Develop integration flows using REST, SOAP, and Java-based connectors where applicable

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with Pega frameworks in the banking sector
- Hands-on experience with Pega Smart Investigate
- Solid experience coding in Java, including OOP, integration patterns, and debugging
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, multi-directional environment
Nice to Have
- Pega certifications such as CSSA or CLSA
- Experience in financial services, ideally in corporate cash management
- Strong communication skills, drive, and ownership
- Experience with AWS services
