We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our team and work on IT projects.
Job Description
- Data analysis and assisting in data modelling.
- Analysis of Business requirements.
- Research, definition and promoting of new use cases endorsing new technologies like AI and ML.
- Contribution to business architecture models that reflect the organization’s strategies and goals.
- Integration of the project strategies to ensure alignment with business strategies and drivers, and management priorities.
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems.
- Documentation of Business Requirements and Uses Cases.
- Business model analysis.
- Business process analysis.
- Business processes modelling.
- Functional requirements and business cases analysis.
- Risk analysis.
- Preparation of Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters and Security Plans
- Participation in business and technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.
- Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.
- Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities.
- Conduct research to find ways to improve operations.
- Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan.
- Interaction with the solution architects, customer, users, project leaders and the developers.
- Elaborate system integration and data migration approaches for legacy repositories.
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of metadata standards for content and records management, including archival description.
- Implement data publication and exchange solutions by exploiting potential advantages of linked open data and semantic web technologies.
Qualifications
- Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes.
- Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.)
- Good knowledge of business process analysis.
- Understanding of interoperability technology (web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture).
- Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative sites.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile).
- Knowledge of notations such as BPMN, UML…
- Knowledge of tools such as ARIS, MS Visio…
- Knowledge of security principles, standards and corresponding implementations in IT development projects.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies would be an asset.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture best practices and goals.
- Ability to give business presentations and actual experience with giving such presentations.
- Ability to apply high quality standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analysis and problem solving skill.
