Job Description

Are you passionate about marketing and sustainability?  

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a difference by positioning our clients as key voices in the sustainability, heat decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and smart tech debates. To achieve this, you will work with clients to develop content, share social media posts, deliver impactful events (both online and in person), produce email marketing campaigns and disseminate policy recommendations that reach everyone from political and business audience to consumers.

The role sits within the Low Carbon Business Unit where you will be part of a small, dynamic, and influential communications team. 

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Manage social media accounts and campaigns for clients across multiple platforms (main platform LinkedIn) 
  • Deliver email campaigns via CRM platforms on behalf of clients  
  • Support the development of communications strategies for clients 
  • Analyse and report on campaign data and success (social and email) 
  • Organise events and webinars  
  • Update content on client websites and advise on improvements 
  • Track speaking opportunities and support clients prepare for these including development of slides or materials 
  • Work with our graphic designer to develop creative and engaging visuals  
  • Copy review and drafting support  
  • Research to ensure content is evidence based and linked to current news 
  • Online engagement activities such as surveys or polling to support our market research activities 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Experience in digital marketing  
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject such as marketing or communications or have equivalent experience 
  • In-depth understanding of all key social media platforms and tools such as Hootsuite 
  • Understanding of trends on social media and ability to identify opportunities to gain greater engagement  
  • Enthusiastic, articulate, hard working with a key eye for detail 
  • Experience in using CRM software and tools in particular managing engagement and mailing lists.
  • A high standard of written English  
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise multiple deadlines 
  • Experience of working in a dynamic environment and managing stakeholder relationships is desirable 
  • Industry knowledge or passion for sustainability
