Job Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join us on the Integrity Check & Pacman product team, part of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) global division.

This young and agile product team has been a pioneer on event streaming oriented solutions over CIB. We own two products at the moment, Integrity Check and Pacman.

Integrity Check is the strategic solution for streaming of traded financial instruments and accounts on CIB, providing online certified information on an easy and globally understandable way, optimizing decision making and actions for our subscribers. Pacman is an Integrity Check subscriber that based on user defined rules performs automations for some of the Back office manual tasks. 

The technical stack is mainly Java Spring Boot microservices, Kafka + Avro + Schema Registry for messaging, Hazelcast for distributed caching, PostgreSQL for persistence and ElasticSearch + Kibana for logging. The CI/CD pipeline is based on GIT, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus and Urban Code.

As an Integrity Check & Pacman Business Analyst and PO you will:

• Work in an Agile environment and continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks.

• Develop, own, and execute the product roadmap.

• Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.

• Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.

• Have to know/learn and discuss with the business about financial instruments. In Integrity Check every product we support is written on a common language (the Esperanto) and it will the BAs responsibility to define it.

• Communicate with stakeholders as users, sponsors, project teams or dev team.

• Have to be able to express application behavior using Gherkin natural language.

• Refine epics and user stories with the team.

• Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.

• Write documentation, prepare and perform presentations of new features.

• Support the team and the product!

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in similar roles and technologies;

• Bachelor degree on Finances, Economics or Computer Science / Information Technology or a related field;

• Knowledge of Financial instruments;

• Organizational, time management and leadership skills;

• Proficient spoken and written command of English;

• Some knowledge of Spanish;

• Agile methodologies: SCRUM

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with ElasticSearch and Kibana;

• Experience with BDD and Gherkin
