As part of SAP team you will design and build applications enabling a new way of communicating GTB products with our SAP clients leveraging on BTP capabilities.

Main responsibilities: 

• Develop, maintain, and optimize applications and services in the SAP BTP.

• Create technical designs for the applications based on the functional requirements.

• Collaborate with other developers, functional teams, and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of solutions, understanding of DevOps principles, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes.

• Establish quality standards in our engineering community, providing and discussing innovative solution approaches and suggestions for improvement in the developments from an E2E perspective.

• + 5 years of experience as a BTP developer
• University Degree

Technical Skills (Hard skills / languages / Minimum knowledge):

• SAP BTP Knowledge: Profound understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including its capabilities and services.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in ABAP for RAP and Node.js or Java for CAP. Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is advantageous.
• Experience in SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and SAP UI5 and/or Fiori Elements in a DevOps and/or Agile environment.
• APIs and Protocols: Familiarity with RESTful APIs, OData Services, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.

Other Relevant Information (e.g., Travel, other):

• Proactive individual with the ability to work in a team.
• Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages such as Portuguese, French, and German is a plus.
