We are seeking a talented Application Support to join our team and to support globally the ION platform, in-house pricing application, algorithmic trading components, STP, for rates and Credit business. The key focus is to provide BAU production support issues/user inquiries and align processes and procedures with the global support teams: to ensure current service agreements are met and requirements are successfully implemented, also to establish a high level of quality for the production systems supporting the FI businesses.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant experience in a similar role, the majority of which should have been gained within Front Office Trading.

Role and responsibilities

Incident and Problem Management: 

• Oversee P1/P2 incidents
• Log and address support issues in Bank's system
• Diagnose and resolve root causes, coordinate critical incident task force

Application Monitoring and follow up:

• Maintain 99.9% global uptime target for Rates and Credit eTrading
• Handle Rates eTrading apps production: ION, algo trading, pricing, etc.
• Monitor app state and data accuracy, hand-off to follow-the-sun teams
• Administer systems and update Production KPIs
• Migrate monitoring to SCADA with Python scripts

Knowledge Management and Documentation:

• Document support procedures
• Assist end-users with application usage

Maintenance and enhancements:

• Validate releases in staging and production
• Coordinate deployment and post-release checks, communicate Release Notes

• Master's degree in Computer science, Engineering, Finance or Quantitative finance
• Candidates must have relevant experience in a similar role, the majority of which should have been gained within Front Office Trading. They must be experienced in providing support as part of a team, and have practical understanding of the criticality of trading applications.
• The role focuses specifically on Rates products, Rates knowledge would be appreciated.

The salary range for this role is US$90,000 - US$140,000
