As a Trading Application Support Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the trading systems, providing essential technical support and maximizing our clients' trading experience.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with traders, developers, and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to our trading applications.
• Utilize your expertise in scripting and SQL within a Linux environment to develop and maintain tools, scripts, and automation solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency.
• Conduct thorough analysis of incidents and provide timely resolutions, ensuring minimal impact on trading activities.
• Monitor and proactively respond to system alerts and performance metrics to ensure optimal system uptime.
• Participate in software deployments and upgrades, conducting thorough testing and validation to guarantee seamless transitions.
• Document support procedures, troubleshooting steps, and best practices to build a comprehensive knowledge base for the team.

• Strong experience in supporting trading applications within a financial services environment.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or similar) to automate tasks and streamline processes.
• Expertise in SQL and database management within a Windows environment.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools and incident management processes.
• Solid understanding of trading workflows, financial markets, and instruments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Preferred Skills   

• Strong knowledge of financial markets, derivative products (equities and commodities)
• Electronic trading support experience
• Knowledge of options and futures operations/clearing
• Knowledge of Citrix servers’ management
