We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for an experienced Information Systems Business Analyst to work with a major account in the Transportation industry. This role will focus specifically on data analysis, making it the perfect fit for someone with a passion for turning complex data sets into actionable insights:

1. Delivers part of the framework

• Produce analysis deliverables to define the scope and to initiate some parts of the project: data flows and data within the Operations IS current and future architecture. The priorities will be set according to the short-term and long-term roadmaps.
• Build business cases detailing high-level scope, costs, timeframe and risks
• Build detailed requirements documentation with the business stakeholders, in alignment with the target vision of the Operations IS, and maintains that documentation throughout the delivery of the projects (clarifications, change requests)
• Build the target architecture and solution within the scope, in order to optimize the target financial synergies, and deadlines
• Build the planning / sequencing of the projects, the organisation and the budget
• Build the test plan, test scenarios with all the business stakeholders impacted by the project (progressive and non-regressive)

2. Contribute to the governance

• Committees, reports, escalations (escalate to the IS Program Lead when needed, communicate to the IS Program Lead the progress/risks/problems, etc) required to monitor the Stream's KPIs
• Manage within the budgets and deadlines allocated to his project
• Coordinate and support the Technical Teams involved in or by his projects, arbitrates and prioritize the work and ensures that all technical contributors are supported

3. Support the technical team in the management of 

• The planning, the budget, the mitigation of the risks, the follow up of the deliverables,
• the data migration with the Data Migration Manager,
• the technical testing in coordination with the Testing Manager
• the technical contracts for the build and the run with the Legal Manager
• Cooperates with the Architecture and Security authority to define and protect the best architecture of the systems of his projects
• Guarantees the application of Safety and GDPR rules within the scope of his projects

• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Project Manager in information systems business analysis
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
• Experience in data analysis, data visualization, and data management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience working with transportation-related data is a plus
