Job Description

TYR Sport is looking to hire an organized and business minded professional for our Operations Associate opening. The associate will work closely with the Director of Operations and will serve as the point person supporting business operations.

Responsibilities will include process implementation and documentation, sales operations and ensuring the utilization of company tools for all departments.

The candidate will be a tech savvy go getter, who is comfortable working with colleagues at varying career levels. Applicants will have 1-2 years professional experience in consumer goods or wholesale industry and a bachelor’s degree.

This position is based on Long Island. Please only apply if you are interested in working on site, at our Farmingdale location.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing ideas to improve company-wide departmental effectiveness and productivity.  This includes documenting processes and ensuring the utilization of company tools.
  • Assisting in day to day administration of corporate tools such as (but not limited to) Salesforce.com, Concur (travel), Wiser (map pricing) and Clarizen (project management).
  • Database Maintenance.
  • Creating, running, analyzing and distributing reports.
  • Assisting in the creation of presentations and presentation tools.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ professional work experience
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Superior organization, prioritization and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work across teams and build relationships with staff at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Computer savvy,  experience includes Microsoft Office Suite,  Google Docs, CRM knowledge a plus, Travel/Expense Tool knowledge a plus.
