Job Description

MyoCore is seeking a personable, organized, and patient-focused Patient Care Concierge / Front Desk Assistant to support our chiropractic clinics located within hospital and medical center settings.

As the first point of contact for our patients, the Patient Care Concierge plays an important role in creating a welcoming, efficient experience throughout each patient's chiropractic care journey. This position combines front desk reception, patient registration, scheduling, insurance and payment support, and clinic administration, while working closely with our Doctors of Chiropractic and support teams to keep the clinic running smoothly in a hospital/medical center-based setting.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome patients to the clinic and provide a friendly, professional experience from check-in through check-out.
  • Manage patient registration, including demographics, referral information, insurance information, and required documentation.
  • Schedule new and existing patient visits, follow-up appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling while helping maintain an efficient patient flow.
  • Answer incoming calls, return voicemails, monitor clinic email, and assist patients with scheduling, account, and general clinic questions.
  • Support patients throughout their chiropractic care by helping them understand appointment schedules, upcoming visits, and administrative next steps.
  • Partner closely with the Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) to support an organized schedule and positive patient experience.
  • Collect copays and other patient payments and accurately post payments to patient accounts.
  • Communicate insurance, billing, and account updates to patients in a clear and professional manner.
  • Verify insurance information for new patients and maintain accurate information within the patient record.
  • Review patient accounts and reports to identify missing information, outstanding balances, payment issues, or other items requiring follow-up.
  • Complete daily reconciliation and end-of-day procedures and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate electronic patient records, upload documentation, and coordinate patient requests such as doctor's notes and other documentation.
  • Help educate patients about the clinic experience and reinforce the importance of staying engaged with their recommended chiropractic care schedule.
  • Support a positive patient experience by addressing questions or concerns and communicating patient needs to the Doctor of Chiropractic when appropriate.
  • Maintain clinic supplies and coordinate inventory ordering based on clinic needs.
  • Assist Doctors of Chiropractic and clinic staff with administrative needs, correspondence, documentation, faxing, and other day-to-day clinic operations.
  • Provide occasional remote or in-person administrative coverage for other MyoCore clinics when needed.
  • Partner with Revenue Cycle Management and Benefits Verification teams on insurance, billing, patient account, and reporting needs as assigned.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate records in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.

Pay & Perks:

  • Starting at $17.00 - $17.50 hour 
  • Full time position across a 5-day work week with long lunches: Monday-Frida 8:30am - 4:30pm

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of customer service, front desk, reception, administrative, or related experience.
  • Experience in a chiropractic, medical, healthcare, dental, physical therapy, or other patient-facing environment is a plus.
  • Experience with patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, copays, or medical billing is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with a genuine interest in helping patients.
  • Comfortable discussing appointments, payments, insurance, and account information directly with patients.
  • Strong attention to detail when entering patient, insurance, and financial information.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and patient needs in a fast-paced clinic environment.
  • Comfortable learning electronic health record, scheduling, and patient accounting systems.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating closely with Doctors of Chiropractic and clinic teams.
  • Professional, welcoming demeanor and commitment to protecting patient confidentiality.
