Job Description

The Tier 1 Support Engineer will be responsible for managing customer issues through completion either by resolving the issues directly or following an appropriate escalation path to the Tier 2 Support resources. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support and technical issue resolution
  2. Document all incidents in the incident tracking system, and manage incidents to closure
  3. Manage client expectations on tickets, prioritize workload
  4. Monitor and respond to operating and error messages
  5. Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
  6. Full-time position

Qualifications

Required technical skills and experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  2. At least 1 years of experience in a Tier 1 Desktop Services role
  3. Experience working with an online ticketing system
  4. At least 1 year supporting Linux technologies in a production environment.
  5. Docker knowledge and  DVB standards  will be plus

  2. Ability to work during the weekends
