Job Description

A content manager's job involves researching, sourcing, writing and editing interesting content to be used in the company's public materials. The manager may craft and send out email newsletters, promotions, and online outreach campaigns. The content manager may also write and update the content of the website on their own. Good content writers can proofread and edit their own work, and work independently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
  2. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout
  3. Create and publish engaging content
  4. Edit, proofread and improve writers’ posts
  5. Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics and manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic
  6. Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities of competitor websites.
  7. Creation of entertaining and informative video content for the website.
  8. Updating all sections of the website including homepage and all other categories.
  9. Serve as editor-in-chief for all content to ensure quality, clarity and consistency

Qualifications

An ideal candidate has a proven countable results in their previous experience. They know what to do and generate creative ideas.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English or related field
  • 3-4 years agency experience or in a similar role
  • Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly computer literate and advanced knowledge of HTML
  • Proficiency with popular content management systems
  • Experience with social media management
  • Creativity and the ability to develop content that provokes engagement.
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Fluent Russian, English are a must

Would be a plus:

  •  Knowledge of Digital marketing; marketing-related creative process 
  • Knowledge of Polish, German
