Job Description

As the Head of Customer Delivery you’ll get to shape and scale our customer delivery operations as we grow. Our commercialisation is gaining rapid momentum; so this role is a key strategic hire for our business. You’ll be part of the senior management team overseeing successful deployments, commissioning, and lifecycle support of complex automation systems for our global customers.

What You’ll Do

  • You’ll get to define and lead the end-to-end customer delivery strategy, from design and build through to installation, validation, training, and handover.
  • You’ll build and inspire a high-performing team covering project management, commissioning, and field service.
  • You’ll oversee complex, multi-stakeholder delivery programmes, ensuring excellence in governance, risk management, and communication.
  • As the senior point of contact for customer delivery, you’ll lean on your ability to nurture trust-based relationships with major global partners.
  • You’ll drive continuous improvement in delivery quality and reliability as the champion of the customer voice within Cellular Origins.

Qualifications

You’re a proven technical leader who’s delivered complex systems into regulated manufacturing environments (GMP/biopharma preferred). You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, aligning diverse stakeholders, and building the structures that turn ambition into execution.

Key requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field (BSc/MSc).
  • PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent programme management credentials.
  • Significant experience delivering high-CAPEX automated systems in regulated sectors.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders in major customer organisations.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience building high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of system integration, validation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 10%).
