Job Description

TSA Group is looking for a IT Specialist Desk Support with experience in the IT industry. This role will be part of a technical team responsible for resolving issues and delivering solutions company wide. This role is to ensure proper computer and software operation, to assist users when problems occur.

The Role

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for receiving, prioritising, documenting, and actively resolving user requests. A typical day will be incredibly dynamic and hands on, seeing the role resolve requests that include hardware connection issues, physical desktop, passwords and asset fleet of computers.

This will require the person to have IT technical skills, service orientation, time management and ability to prioritise tasks in addition to soft skills that include teamwork, agility, problem-solving, and autonomy.

Key Requirements

Please consider these requirements before applying for this role:

  • Basic fundamental knowledge of Server, storage, database, network & security
  • Requires basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server software, Windows Terminal Services, Citrix Presentation Server, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, Microsoft Active Directory, SharePoint, IIS and/or other industry standard server platform service
  • Requires basic understanding of LAN topology, routers, hubs, switches, firewalls and network protocols and services, including WAN/ MPLS, TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
