Our business is rapidly growing, and we now have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and results-driven People Advisor to support our South Australia contact centre.  

Reporting to the Group Manager People Operations, you'll gain exposure to all areas of our operations, where you'll have the chance to refine both your commercial acumen and HR skillset. No one day will ever be the same. As a trusted influencer and change agent, you'll be using your expertise to shape our people's experiences and the way in which we achieve results for our clients. 

The People Advisor will work closely with leaders and senior stakeholders to provide advice and coaching on all people related matters. Under the guidance of the Group Manager People

Operations, you will assist with HR projects to ensure key initiatives are implemented

successfully across the business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide HR consulting services to line management covering all aspects of people management
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures
  • Interpret award entitlements and terms and conditions of workplace agreements
  • End to end management of employee grievances and dispute resolution cases
  • Assist with training needs analysis to identify site-specific needs and liaise with the HR team to develop and deliver bespoke upskill programs
  • Support the design and delivery of WHS initiatives in compliance with legislative requirements
  • Share ideas and collaborate with the team on the design, delivery, and implementation of HR initiatives and strategy

Criteria

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a HR generalist interfacing directly with employees and line managers in a challenging and fluid environment
  • Sound understanding of human resources legislative and regulatory environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience consulting with employees at all levels
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Proven negotiation and influencing ability with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and/or Business Management or Psychology

Desirable

  • Experience using Chris21
  • Experience within a BPO or call centre environment
  • Experience with WHS, remuneration and benefits and exposure to change management projects
