Job Description

  • Lead process professional work in project bidding, FEED and detailed design stages, complete overall process scheme demonstration, process flow optimization, material & heat balance calculation, and compile process design specification and technical proposal.

  • Independently develop, review and optimize PFD, P&ID, process datasheets and equipment process technical requirements, conduct process simulation and parameter verification to match offshore operating conditions.

  • Carry out process hazard analysis including HAZOP, LOPA and risk assessment, sort out safety design requirements, and ensure full compliance with international offshore safety codes and project specifications.

  • Responsible for professional technical bid evaluation, vendor process scheme review and technical confirmation, guide equipment selection and system matching for process packages.

  • Coordinate cross-disciplinary interface with mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, structural and construction teams, solve professional interface conflicts and technical difficulties throughout project phases.

  • Support on-site construction, commissioning and start-up, handle process design changes, technical clarification and problem rectification, and complete professional document delivery and technical summary.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Oil & Gas Storage and Transportation or related majors.

  • Professional Skills: Familiar with API, ASME, ISO, OSHA and offshore industry process design codes; proficient in process simulation software such as HYSYS/PROMAX; skilled in PFD/P&ID design and hazard analysis.

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years offshore oil & gas EPC project process design experience; candidates with complete FEED/detailed design project delivery experience are preferred.

  • Competence: Capable of independently leading process professional work and solving complex technical issues; proficient in English technical document reading, writing and cross-party technical communication.

  • Personal Traits: Rigorous logical thinking, strong responsibility and team leadership, excellent coordination and problem-solving ability, able to adapt to project business trips and residency.
