Job Description
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Comply with the Integrated Management System (IMS) and all relevant international rules, regulations, and company policies relating to quality, health, safety, environment, and ethics
- Lead and manage the NB Quality Assurance and Safety Management teams, ensuring operational efficiency and continuous performance improvement
- Develop and oversee the Quality Assurance and Safety Management activity roadmaps, including audit plans and training programmes
- Manage all Quality Assurance and Safety Management reporting, including participation in shipyard and Maker audits with follow-up on corrective actions
- Identify training requirements for team members and foster continuous professional development and knowledge enhancement
- Coordinate with Area Managers and Site Managers to review and improve the Supervision process, including the development of process improvement proposals
- Establish and maintain regular operational meetings, briefings, and reporting mechanisms as required
- Collaborate with the NB Environment representative to develop the yard's Environmental roadmap
- Participate in the review of Newbuilding Specifications and undertake specific project missions as assigned
Qualifications
**Minimum Education and Qualifications**
Degree in engineering, naval architecture, or maritime studies.
**Experience**
3 years in the maritime industry, with demonstrated experience in quality assurance and/or safety management.

- Technical knowledge of vessel design and project management
- Strong analytical, organisational, and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environments
- Integrity, relationship building, and proven capability to lead and develop teams with a global perspective
