Our client is a leading European provider of fully serviced accommodation solutions, serving businesses across multiple European markets. The company is experiencing continued growth and is now looking to strengthen its finance team.
To support this development, we are looking for a structured and hands-on Financial Accountant to join the finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant or bookkeeper who enjoys working in an international environment and wants to take ownership of key financial processes in a growing company.
Job Description
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial foundation that supports the company's continued commercial expansion. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will help ensure accurate financial reporting, efficient processes and reliable insights into company performance.

Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records for one of the company's European entities
• Ensure accurate and timely postings in accordance with month-end closing procedures
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage supplier invoices and payments
• Handle employee expenses and corporate credit card reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support VAT, corporate tax, payroll and statutory reporting processes in collaboration with external advisors
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reporting and financial insights
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems and controls
• Support the finance team with ad hoc accounting and financial tasks as the business continues to grow
About You
• You have solid experience within bookkeeping or accounting, ideally from an international environment
• You take ownership of your responsibilities and consistently deliver accurate, high-quality work
• You work in a structured and detail-oriented manner
• You are proactive, positive and service-oriented in your approach
• You are curious and motivated to improve processes and ways of working
• You communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Danish is not required
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• You have experience with e-conomic or similar financial systems, which is an advantage

The company is currently located in the greater Copenhagen area but will be relocating to a new office closer to central Copenhagen, with excellent access to public transport.
