Job Title: Application Delivery Lead – AI-Assisted Development
Work Location: Onsite – Tampa, Florida
Duration: Full time
Experience Required: 8 to 14 years of overall experience in software development and delivery, including significant experience leading application-based projects and Agile teams.

Job Summary:
The Onsite SME (Delivery Leader) will lead and mentor Agile delivery teams building and enhancing complex applications and services for Advantive. This role owns end-to-end delivery quality, leveraging AI-assisted development practices to accelerate outcomes while maintaining high delivery standards. The incumbent will collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable, and well-governed solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead onsite delivery of applications, services, and components, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
- Provide functional leadership and subject matter expertise across requirement refinement, planning, delivery tracking, and release management activities.
- Drive adoption and effective use of AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery efficiency, quality, and predictability.
- Define and enforce delivery standards, governance mechanisms, and best practices for predictable and sustainable delivery.
- Ensure appropriate validation and quality gates are in place across the delivery lifecycle, optimally leveraging AI to increase speed and reliability without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with product management, architecture, and operations teams to refine requirements and ensure production readiness.
- Mentor and upskill team members in Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and AI-driven ways of working.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in leading functional and delivery outcomes for enterprise-grade applications and services.
- Hands-on experience leading Agile delivery teams (Scrum or Kanban) in a product or project environment.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted tools to support planning, analysis, documentation, and quality activities.
- Proven experience in establishing and managing effective delivery governance, risk management, and status reporting.
- Strong skills in issue/risk identification, root-cause analysis, and driving resolution across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with release planning, dependency management, and coordination across multiple squads or workstreams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team mentoring skills.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience working with teams delivering solutions on cloud platforms in enterprise environments.
- Exposure to projects involving integration of multiple systems or services.
- Familiarity with large-scale program delivery, including coordination across distributed or multi-location teams.
- Experience working closely with architecture, operations, and support teams to ensure smooth transitions to production.
- Background in applying governance and controls for quality, compliance, and auditability.
- Prior experience in a similar SME / Delivery Lead / Technical Lead role in enterprise environments.
- Salesforce knowledge.
- Knowledge of any of the Advantive products.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
