Job Description
- Partner closely with US hiring managers and account teams to understand detailed technical job requirements, skill sets, cultural fit, and timelines for open positions.
- Create and optimize compelling, ATS-friendly job descriptions tailored to the US market.
- Source high-quality candidates through various channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals (e.g., Dice, Indeed, CareerBuilder, Monster), GitHub, Stack Overflow, Boolean searches, social media, employee referrals, and internal databases.
- Perform thorough candidate screening: review resumes, assess technical skills, conduct initial phone/video interviews, and evaluate both hard and soft skills.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive and active candidates for current and future US IT roles.
- Coordinate and schedule technical interviews between candidates and US clients/hiring managers, ensuring smooth communication across time zones.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process: from sourcing to offer stage, including negotiation support, reference checks, background verification coordination, and candidate experience management.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness, submission-to-interview ratios) and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
- Stay updated on US IT market trends, in-demand skills (e.g., cloud, AI/ML, DevOps, full-stack), salary benchmarks, visa considerations (where applicable), and compliance requirements.
- Build long-term relationships with candidates and clients to support repeat and referral business.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience as a Technical Recruiter, US IT Recruiter, or US Staffing Recruiter (experience supporting US clients is strongly preferred).
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting for technical/IT roles (software development, cloud, data, cybersecurity, etc.) in the US market.
- Strong understanding of US job market dynamics, salary ranges, benefits expectations, and candidate motivations.
- Experience working with US staffing vendors, prime vendors, or direct clients.
- Knowledge of US employment practices, W2/C2C contracts, and basic visa/immigration awareness.
- Previous exposure to full recruitment life-cycle including offer negotiation and closing.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent sourcing skills with hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and advanced Boolean search techniques.
- Ability to read and understand technical resumes and job requirements (familiarity with technologies like Java, .NET, Python, AWS/Azure, React, etc.).
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) in English — must be confident and professional in client/candidate interactions.
- Comfortable working from office in Vadodara and flexible with US time-zone alignment (may require early morning or late evening calls).
- Target-driven mindset with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), ATS/CRM tools (e.g., Bullhorn, JobDiva, or similar), and LinkedIn Recruiter.
