Job Description

Role: Principal Solution Architect

Location: Austin, TX (Day 1 Onsite and need only local candidates to TX)

Duration: 12+ Months

Experience: 15+ Years

 

 

Note: AWS Certification is mandatory for this role

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Strategy: Define and execute the technical strategy for Java, Angular, and Spring Boot-based applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
  2. Solution Design: Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack applications using Java, Angular, and Spring Boot.
  3. Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers and architects, providing guidance on best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX/UI design, and DevOps, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.
  5. Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met.
  6. Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Java, Angular, and Spring Boot, and drive innovation within the team.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor/Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience:
    1. 15+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
    2. Extensive experience with Java, Angular, and Spring Boot, AWS services.
    3. Proven track record of designing and delivering complex, high-performance applications.
  3. Technical Skills:
    1. Java: Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot).
    2. Angular: Expertise in Angular for building dynamic and responsive front-end applications.
    3. Microservices: Experience with microservices architecture, service orchestration and RESTful/GRPC API design.
    4. Database: Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
    5. DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
    6. Security: Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security principles.
  4. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions ArchitectTOGAF are preferred.

Soft Skills:

  1. Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills.
  2. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
  3. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
