Role: Performance Tester

Location: Austin, TX (Remote Until Pandemic)

Duration: 12+ Months

 Experience & Education: 

·                7+ years of experience with software Performance testing  

·                Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree a Must, Masters preferred 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 Performance Tester 

·                 Performance testing distributed/standalone applications and public facing APIs/ HTTP.  

·                 Expertise in Load, Scalability and Stress testing methodologies. 

·                 Experience in conducting Performance testing using industry standard tools, preferably J-meter, Rational performance tester & Visual Studio web test.   

·                 Experience with executing performance tests on containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes. 

·                 Experience in quality assurance practices and software testing tools  

·                 Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo & Visual Studio Devops.  

·                 Expert knowledge in handling Java/Grinder based customized performance testing frameworks. 

·                 Good programming skills in Core Java.  

·                 Excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to determine the root causes of the identified issues 

·                 Perform Analysis of the Test execution, Lead the Tuning efforts and provide recommendations for Go Live.  

·                 Experience in creating large volume test data generation, Obfuscation.  

·                 Experience with java based performance profiling and memory analysis tools (such as VisualVM, JConsole, Eclipse MAT) 

·                 Experience in integration of Performance testing tools with system monitoring tools like Appdynamics,Jprofiler, New Relic .   

·                 Knowledge of full system development life cycles and various development methodologies. 

·                 Strong communication, Organizational and time management skills 

 Performance testing of JPOS based applications would be preferred
