• Simulation model operation and real-time planning development; 
• Terminal performance monitoring and bottleneck elimination;
• Operational philosophy and performance standards development;
• Energy Management reporting;
• Strategic improvement initiatives;
• SHE and administrative compliance.

• BSc/BTech Industrial/Mechanical Engineering; post-graduate qualification in Planning or Logistics (advantageous);
• 5-10 years’ experience in Industrial Engineering or Bulk Logistics environments; minimum 5 years proven experience in Terminal Simulation Systems; exposure to ISO 9001 and/or ISO 50001 (advantageous).

Skills

• Advanced experience with simulation systems (G2 programming advantageous)
• strong capability in Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Business Process mapping; Lean six sigma Greenbelt certification (advantageous)
• data analytics tool proficiency (e.g. Minitab, Power BI); Strong Ms Office skills (Ms Access advantageous); excellent analytical
• reporting and documentation skills; strong written, verbal and presentation communication
• Driver’s licence.
