Job Description
- Plan, develop and administer policies and procedures of the Occupational Health Centre;
- Manage clinic resources to meet the RBCT’s Occupational Health objectives;
- Budget formulation and control;
- Primary health care;
- Provide care and wellness to employees that leads to the promotion, protection and restoration of the employee’s occupational health and hygiene within a safe working environment;
- Comply with legal requirements and RBCT policies and procedures;
- Emergency preparedness and business continuity management;
- Administrative duties;
- Projects.
Qualifications
- B Tech in Occupational Health Nursing; Degree in Nursing Administration or equivalent will be advantageous
- Certificate in Audiometry (update), spirometry, dispensary licence; 5 years management experience in an Occupational Health environment
- Management Development Program (MDP); ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System
- SAMTRAC & SHE Auditing (advantageous)
- working knowledge of procedures followed when dealing with the Compensation Commissioner; Registration with South African Nursing Council.

- Code EB driver’s license
- Basic Ambulance course
- dispensing course
- ability to stablish rapport at all levels within the organisation
- strong IT skills (MS Office and SAP); sound knowledge of relevant legislation.
