Job Description

  • As part of the EMEA Marketing team, you will be responsible for the conception, organisation, and execution of events. This includes the Promotion of Events through various channels as well as follow-up
  • You will be the project manager for all EMEA on/offline events to ensure they are delivered as planned and contribute to our objectives
  • You coordinate the involved departments/stakeholders as well as external service providers and ensure transparency and compliance with the milestones around the events
  • In addition to the professional planning and organisation of external and internal events, you are responsible for briefings (objectives, addressing the target group) and follow-up meetings/processes with our colleagues and service providers
  • The organisation and implementation of webinars and other online formats, including preparation and follow-up, is also part of your responsibilities
  • You check which story line/sales play or which partner is best suited for the respective event and realise the event accordingly
  • You support the communication around the events and cooperate closely with the communication team to adequately represent our brand and positioning
  • You will pro-actively develop a contemporary event marketing strategy that ensures that we address our target group in the best possible way, as well as following the current trends in the event industry
  • Budget calculation and control; quality/success control as well as reporting and evaluation of the EMEA event marketing activities also fall within your area of responsibility

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in business administration or economics, preferably with a focus on event marketing, or a professional or a comparable qualification
  • Several years working experience in the area of event marketing or marketing communications
  • Special knowledge in event marketing
  • Knowledge and experience in the area of digital / virtual event management, incl. platforms and tools
  • Ability to convey technical topics clear and target group specific in digital and on-site event settings
  • Very good organizational skills and project management experience
  • Business fluent English language skills (spoken and written)
  • Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and self-motivation
  • Excellent teamwork skills and willingness to work in virtual teams
  • Willingness to travel
  • Outstanding knowledge of German and English
