Job Description

  • Development of full-stack authentication and authorization components for our cloud-based microservice environments 
  • Evaluation of security risks and implementation of countermeasures 
  • Crucial participation in the design and creation of our overall solution architecture with a focus on application secuity 
  • Support of other development teams through knowledge transfer, internal consulting and concept/code reviews 

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training or university degree in computer science, software engineering or a similar field. Alternatively, also equivalent job experience in a relevant field 
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming (e.g. Java, C#, C++, Go) and relational database systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL) 
  • Accustomed to and convinced of clean code development and good coding practices (like TDD) 
  • Ideally experience with Java and MySQL 
  • Any of the following would be a plus: Git, microservice architecture, Docker, OAuth, Spring Boot/MVC, web security, Scrum 
  • Self-motivation and strong ability to solve complex tasks with a results-oriented approach 
  • Very good written and spoken English skills; German would be a plus 
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively (also remotely)
