Job Description

The Finance Associate will assist the Controller in all financial reporting and control responsibilities across the Company, implementing, managing, and running all finance related activities including overseeing books and records, month-end and quarterly close, management and statutory reporting, financial and regulatory audits, implementing financial operation controls and ERP system. The Finance Associate will assist the Controller in ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

  • Perform monthly cash reconciliations
  • Record quarterly revenues and expenses
  • Responsible for all accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Ensure invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental process and procedures
  • Respond to all vendor inquiries
  • Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements for the Company
  • Work with external auditors on the annual Company audit other interim period review
  • Assist in preparation of periodic presentation for the management and board meetings
  • Assisting Controller in preparation and management of annual budget and periodic forecast
  • Gather/record all information for tax estimates/K-1s
  • Implement financial operation controls
  • Participate in implementation of financial systems

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years Financial Accounting experience.
  • Sound knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and SEC accounting/reporting requirements
  • Knowledge of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
