Accounts Assistant and Bookkeeper
Job Description
Our client is as established and growing Accountancy Practice. We are delighted to be supporting an exceptional 6 partner firm that is based in Essex that are currently looking to recruit an outstanding Bookkeeper to strengthen their team.
Main Responsibilities
- Completing VAT returns
- Preparing bank reconciliations, processing sales invoices and purchases
- Working closely with clients to understand their requirements
- Liaise with HMRC
- Perform general bookkeeping duties
Key Skills
- Expert knowledge of Quickbooks/Xero
- CIS Bookkeeping
- Excellent experience in Microsoft Excel
- AAT or ACCA Qualified/Part Qualified
- Experience working in a practice firm is an advantage but not a must
- Outstanding communications skills
- Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills
The ideal candidate will have 4 years within a similar role and seek a progressive accountancy practice giving you the opportunity to expand your accounting knowledge whilst working with a great spectrum of interesting clients and within an incredibly supportive and collaborative team.
This role would suit a QBE or an active studier, study support provided
