Job Description

osition: Receiving Technician I / Warehouse Worker
Location: Breinigsville, PA 18031
Duration: 6 Months
Work Type: Onsite
Shift Timings: Monday to Friday - 07:15 AM to 03:30 PM
Pay rate: $ 15-18.50/ Hourly

Responsibilities:
Apply Good Manufacturing Practices in all areas of responsibility
Demonstrates the company mission and values
Follows all Standard Operating Procedures
Pick, pack, and ship distribution orders that require a basic skill level
Screen shipments for unauthorized devices by TSA requirements
Execute distribution & warehouse system transactions
Processes all orders according to the priority set by the Distribution Leader/Supervisor to meet the receipt date.
Verifies proper storage conditions and temperature monitoring of shipments
Loads couriers’ trucks using pallet jacks
Identifies opportunities to improve overall quality and efficiency
Engaged in Daily management and 5S daily
Ensures that inventory is properly and safely stored
Maintains warehouse for safety, security, neatness, and organization

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Forklift experience is required.
Forklift certification is preferred.
Some experience in logistics with a life science company is preferred.
Prior Distribution/Warehouse experience is required.
The proven ability to consistently and independently follow policies procedures, and instructions, and to meet schedules required.
Must be able to operate powered industrial trucks and with the ability to operate the equipment at various heights. Need basic computer skills to navigate ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software to support the operation in its daily functions.
Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices.
Prior pharmaceutical or clinical logistics experience

Additional Information

 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences preferred.

  • Basic Lab experience with a Bachelor's degree or Intermediate Lab experience within a cGMP clinical production environment and a High School Diploma.

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of Lab experience required.
