These events range from highly produced gatherings in world capitals to small events in rural communities. To support the continued growth and development of this community, we are seeking a highly organized, globally-minded individual to join our team.
We are seeking a Licensing Coordinator to join the TEDx Licensing team. This is a full-time role. The focus of this role will be on evaluating event proposals from new and returning organizers, reaching out to applicants to gather more information about their proposals or to clarify aspects of the program, and providing general support to our community to keep up with their enthusiasm and growth.
Job Description
The ideal candidate is mission-driven and eager to support our expanding global community - you’ll act as an informed resource for new applicants and returning organizers and you’ll also bubble up questions, concerns, or confusion from the community so we can better tailor and refine our resources. You must be detail oriented and methodical. Day to day work involves a variety of tasks from handling communication with potential and current organizers to managing the review process from start to finish for a high volume of applications. You’ll need to monitor, maintain, and prioritize several different workflows.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- Organized and excels at handling a high volume workload
- Community-minded and is willing to offer support for any task, no matter how small
- Excels at time management, completing tasks at a high level of quality
- Resourceful, proactive and excited to learn and take on new challenges
- Has strong customer service orientation: Can represent TEDx to prospective and existing organizers and can communicate with our volunteer community with clarity and compassion
- Interested in learning more about community development and excited to engage with diverse cultures on a day-to-day basis
- You know how to use a Mac
A passion for TED and TEDx and a broad interest in the world will make you a great candidate. Intellectually curious and globally-minded, you’ll excel in this role if you believe in the mission of TEDx and TED to spread ideas.
In addition to this, the following skills and experiences would be helpful:
- You have experience living or working in another country
- You speak another language
- You are familiar with Salesforce
- You are proficient in Google Drive Applications
