Compensation: $18-$22/hr depending on experience and qualifications. 

We are looking for a hard-working and dedicated Returns Processing Associate to join our team. We provide a great working environment in a new clean facility. We offer a competitive pay with paid holidays, health insurance, and vacation time. Work hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.

The most important aspect of this position is to perform all returns processes including receipts, dispositions, destructions, and delivery of inbound parcels.

The ideal candidate will report to the Warehouse Manager and handle the following responsibilities:

• Oversee and execute established procedures for properly receiving, inspecting, and testing returned inventory for a distributor of high-end electronics.
• Exercise a large range of product knowledge as well as attention to detail to make decisions and react quickly to changes.
• Manually create large packing lists for shipments and ensure product is properly identified and labeled.
• Utilize knowledge of both internal and external systems to accomplish daily tasks and solve problems.
• Maintain zero defect performance.

Day to day tasks include:

• Working from a computer to produce and oversee outgoing shipments.
• Verifying returned items' condition, ensuring they match the return claims, and determining if they can be resold, refurbished, or need to be disposed of.
• Digital record-keeping and file maintenance following established procedures and standards.
• Using judgement and product knowledge to address problems that arise during production.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a distribution environment
• Basic math skills are required, but a calculator may be used
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good attendance and ability to follow instructions without deviation.
• Ability to efficiently use IT hardware, software and peripherals as it pertains to the performance of daily tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of returns processing in a warehouse or shipping environment 
• 3+ years of shipping/receiving experience (preferably within a warehouse)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced environment
• Walking or standing at a minimum of 80% of the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks in a busy environment
• Bending, squatting, pivoting and stooping may be required
