Today, there are more than 6,000 NAPA AUTO PARTS Stores. About 1,000 of them are corporate owned, and Genuine Parts Company is the employer for these locations. However, there are about 5,000 independently owned and operated NAPA AUTO PARTS Stores where individual store owners are the employer. This position is through an independently owned and operated store.

Primary Job Functions:

The primary functions of this position is to promote the entire NAPA and Bailey's Heavy Duty line of products and programs in addition to selling the store’s services in an effort to increase sales as well as increase market penetration through new and existing accounts.  This person represents the primary communication link between assigned accounts and the store.  This person should fully implement and support NAPA and Bailey's initiated programs and follow store policies and procedures.    This person must have a working knowledge of vehicle systems and components. This person must have a working knowledge of Heavy Duty, Diesel, Agricultural and Construction vehicles and equipment. 

Qualifications / Requirements

• Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Self-starter with a high degree of energy.
• Ability to successfully negotiate with customers at all management levels.
• Ability to work under pressure both externally and internally, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Proven ability to exceed annual/quarterly/monthly sales goals.

Counter sales is a plus but will train the right person.
