Job Description

As a Programs Manager, you will play a critical role in helping Hensoldt Inc. deliver a broad range of industry-leading radar, electro-optics, and vehicle self-protection technologies to U.S. customers by tailoring technologies to meet the needs of our customers. This is your opportunity to join an emerging product solutions government contractor and help shape the future of sensor/radar technologies

You will interface with all levels in the company, including senior leadership.  Reporting to the Director of Program Management this role provides project management/administrative support and coordination to multiple contracts and projects. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

·         Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.

·         Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.

·         Prepares budgets, financial forecasts and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.

·         Prepares program and WBS plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.

·         Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.

·         Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.

·         Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.

·         May represent the company at project planning meetings.

·         May assist in providing interface and coordination with other contractors and other related programs to organize and review work progress.

·         Assists with proposals, capture management, business development program support

·         Works on logistics and maintainability programs on issues such as technical evaluation and identification of systems logistics requirements and resources.

·         Analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs.

·         Reviews contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.

·         Identifies, prioritizes, and assesses key project and logistics assets and infrastructures.

·         Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies for contract delivery.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Finance, Business or related discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent years’ experience/education
  • Ability to obtain/maintain US security clearance at the Secret Level
  • Generally requires knowledge of the Federal Supply System as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.
  • High proficiency in Deltek CostPoint
  • High proficiency Project Management Skills
  • Strong Skills in Revenues, Margins, customer support
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing exciting work environment

Desired Qualifications

·         Familiar with Import/Export, ITAR/EAR regulations

·         Experience in working with international businesses
