Job Description

Clarity Wellness Group seeks an organized, compassionate individual to join our new practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LCPC) in our soon to open Westmont office. This position will be responsible for conducting therapy in a compassionate and comprehensive manner. We specialize in teens/emerging adults (ages 12-25).

LCSW Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessment of patient in a ethical, comprehensive, compassionate manner
  • Provide direct therapy and case management services in a one on one setting
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Work with patients to create effective treatment techniques that will yield good results
  • Enhance clients’ cognitive and behavioral changes that are aligned with overall treatment plan
  • Maintain records and documentation of client information, progress, and treatment
  • Direct clients to available community resources that could be beneficial to them
  • Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as needed
  • Work with the family of patients to provide best support and care that they need
  • May require to work some weekends and evening hours

Qualifications

  • Master’s in Social work or Counseling required
  • Ability to work ethically and professionally
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and collaborate well with others
  • Ability to intervene in crisis situations
  • Experience collaborating with referral sources
  • Experience providing therapy to adolescents and young adults
  • Illinois Clinical Psychology License or LCSW/LCPC license
  • Proficiency in evidence-based interventions
  • Experience documenting in EMR
