Job Description

TBC Bank is currently seeking a talented and experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a passion for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions. If you are skilled at optimizing cloud resources, automating processes, and working in a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you!

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
  • Automate processes and implement infrastructure-as-code (IAC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, availability, and costs using AWS monitoring and logging tools
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and strategies, ensuring high availability and data durability.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud architecture and infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members on AWS-related matters.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a professional capacity.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or other relevant AWS certifications.
  • Good understanding in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as Python, Go or Bash
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools, such as Ansible
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Additional Information

Nice to have:

  • Experience with other cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD).
  • Experience with serverless computing and managed services, such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, or Amazon RDS.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
