The EHS Manager is responsible for leading, developing, implementing and continuously improving the Environmental, Health and Safety strategy, programs and processes at the Teva Tech site. The role is accountable for establishing EHS culture and KPI's ensuring full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, corporate requirements and Teva/TAPI global EHS policies and standards.

• Build and lead the site EHS strategy, annual work plans, objectives and priorities, ensuring alignment with Teva/TAPI global EHS policy, corporate standards, local regulatory requirements and the operational needs of the Teva Tech site.
• Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programs, procedures and structured work processes across the site, ensuring clear governance, accountability, documentation, follow-up and effective execution.
• Drive the building and embedding of a strong safety culture throughout the site, promoting proactive risk assessment, leadership commitment, learning from safety events and day-to-day behaviors.
• Manage the EHS department and its interfaces, including direct management of EHS employees and professional oversight of safety managers, safety officers, process safety engineers, safety training, occupational hygiene, health and environmental activities.
• Establish clear priorities, roles, routines and performance expectations for the EHS team, while developing employees’ professional capabilities, supporting collaboration, and ensuring effective service and partnership with site management and operational departments.
• Oversee safety and environmental management in production facilities, laboratories, utilities, engineering areas, warehouses and all other site departments, ensuring that EHS requirements are integrated into routine operations, projects, maintenance activities and change management processes.
• Lead the site process safety program and the overall risk assessment framework, including hazard identification, risk analysis, mitigation plans, monitoring of corrective actions and continuous improvement of risk controls.
• Ensure environmental compliance and responsible environmental performance, including management of permits, reporting obligations, waste, emissions, wastewater, chemicals and other relevant environmental aspects, while maintaining effective working relationships with authorities and enforcement bodies.
• Ensure the site’s compliance with applicable safety, occupational health and environmental regulations, corporate EHS standards, internal procedures and audit requirements, and lead readiness for inspections, audits and external reviews.
• Lead investigations and learning processes following EHS events, near misses, deviations, audit findings and other relevant incidents, ensuring robust root-cause analysis, practical corrective and preventive actions, and effective implementation of lessons learned.
• . Lead cross-functional EHS projects and improvement initiatives, partnering with site leadership, operations, engineering, quality, HR, procurement, global EHS and other stakeholders to advance safety, environmental and operational excellence.
• Promote structured work processes and disciplined execution across the site by defining clear standards, strengthening management routines, following up on action plans and ensuring that EHS requirements are translated into practical, sustainable ways of working.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 10+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the chemical industry.
• Strong expertise in Process Safety Management (PSM) and risk management within industrial operations.
• At least 5 years of experience leading teams and managing complex cross-functional interfaces.
• In-depth knowledge of Israeli EHS regulations, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing is highly preferred; experience within the pharmaceutical industry is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive a safety culture, and engage employees at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple priorities and leading EHS initiatives in a complex operational environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with experience working in a global and matrix organization considered an advantage.
