As part of the expansion of our activities in Anglophone Africa, we are looking for a Head of Recruitment who will lead recruitment missions while actively contributing to the development of our client portfolio in the region.

Job Description

The Head of Recruitment – Anglophone Africa will play a key role in developing Talent2Africa’s presence in English-speaking African markets.

This position combines:

  • 60% recruitment and delivery of executive search assignments

  • 40% business development

The successful candidate will manage the full recruitment cycle, from client briefing to candidate presentation, while contributing to the acquisition of new mandates.

The role involves close collaboration with the CEO, with regular updates on recruitment progress and commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Executive Search (60%)

  • Conduct client briefing meetings to understand hiring needs, company context and role expectations

  • Define and implement sourcing and headhunting strategies

  • Identify and approach candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, databases and direct search

  • Conduct structured interviews and candidate assessments

  • Prepare candidate evaluation reports and interview summaries

  • Present qualified shortlists to clients and support them throughout the recruitment process

  • Maintain strong relationships with candidates and ensure a high-quality candidate experience

  • Manage recruitment assignments with a strong focus on quality and delivery

Business Development (40%)

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Anglophone Africa

  • Build relationships with HR Directors, CEOs and senior decision-makers

  • Promote Talent2Africa’s services and convert opportunities into recruitment mandates

  • Participate in client meetings, proposals and commercial presentations

  • Contribute to strengthening Talent2Africa’s market presence and visibility in the region

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Provide weekly reporting to the CEO on recruitment progress and business development activities

  • Monitor recruitment pipeline and performance indicators

  • Ensure structured follow-up of missions, candidates and client interactions

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in recruitment, executive search or HR consulting

  • Proven experience in talent sourcing and headhunting

  • Good understanding of African talent markets, particularly in Anglophone countries

  • Ability to develop client relationships and generate new business

  • Experience recruiting middle management and senior executive profiles
