Job Description
The company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources & Ethics Officer to oversee the HR functions and ensure that the organization adheres to its ethical standards. The HR & Ethics Officer will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong HR experience and a passion for promoting a positive organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and orientation
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with goals and comply with local labor laws and regulations.
- Oversee the performance management process, including annual reviews and evaluations, performance improvement plans, and career progression plans.
- Promote a positive organizational culture, notably by organizing employee engagement activities and fostering a respectful work environment.
- Support employee relations by addressing grievances, mediating disputes, and providing guidance on the formulation and implementation of HR policies.
- Advise leadership on HR-related issues, including talent management, training, and staff development.
- Assist in coordinating training programs and workshops that enhance employees' skills and knowledge.
- Investigate ethical concerns raised by employees and ensure that all matters are handled confidentially and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws, industry best practices, and ethical guidelines to keep the organization compliant.
- Collaborate with all departments and teams to ensure ethical considerations are integrated into processes and decision-making. Advise on potential ethical risks associated with new initiatives or projects.
- Prepare reports on HR activities, employee satisfaction, and ethical concerns for senior management.
- Manage nternship program.
Qualifications
Profile
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar HR role.
- Proven experience as HR & Ethics officer, administrator or other related position
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Strong understanding of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Experience in handling employee grievances and investigating ethical concerns.
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of ethical standards and experience in promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Fluency in English is desirable.
