Job Description

At TAL, we’re reimagining the claims experience to make it simpler, more supportive and more meaningful for the people who rely on us. This role plays a key part in shaping the future of life insurance claims by bringing deep operational insight to transformational initiatives that improve customer outcomes. Working at the heart of innovation and experience, you’ll help drive positive change across the claims journey, contributing to TAL’s purpose of supporting Australians to live a life filled with choices, options and freedoms.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the redesign of claims processes and experiences to deliver better outcomes for customers and partners. 
  •  Apply deep claims expertise to identify opportunities for innovation, simplification and continuous improvement. 
  • Shape future-state claims solutions by translating operational insights into practical business improvements. 
  • Influence strategic transformation initiatives through expert knowledge of claims operations and customer needs. 
  • Partner with stakeholders across Claims and the broader business to drive meaningful and sustainable change. 
  • Champion customer-centric thinking to create trusted, efficient and compliant claims experiences.

Qualifications

  • Strong life insurance claims experience, with a broad understanding of claims operations and customer journeys.
  • A track record of identifying and delivering improvements that enhance customer and business outcomes.
  • The ability to apply practical claims expertise to solve complex problems and shape better ways of working.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to build relationships and influence positive change.
  • A collaborative and curious mindset, with a passion for innovation, continuous improvement and learning.
  • A customer-first approach, with a commitment to creating simple, trusted and meaningful experiences for customers.
