Job Description
As a Business Analyst, you’ll help strengthen the foundations of TAL’s risk management by ensuring we have a clear and accurate understanding of the third parties that support our business. Working across teams and building strong stakeholder connections, you’ll contribute to better decision-making, stronger governance, and greater confidence in the services that help us deliver on our promise to protect Australians and help them live better lives.
In This Role You Will:
- Improve third-party data quality to support informed risk assessment and decision-making.
- Validate critical third-party information to enhance accuracy, completeness and governance outcomes.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to resolve data gaps and strengthen record integrity.
- Drive timely resolution of data inconsistencies to maintain a trusted third-party register.
- Optimise data collection tools and processes to improve efficiency and ongoing maintenance.
- Deliver quality outcomes and actionable progress insights that support effective risk management.
Please note, this is a 6-month fixed term contract.
Qualifications
- Experience in business analysis, data analysis or a related discipline, ideally within a regulated or risk-focused environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage, review and validate large volumes of information accurately
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify gaps, investigate issues and support data quality outcomes
- Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused approach
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes on time
