Job Description
We have a permanent position available as a Senior Partnership Manager to join TAL’s Partnerships team. The focus of this team is to ensure our superannuation partners receive excellent service across their relationship with TAL. They lead the direct interactions with our partners and manage our internal teams to ensure delivery of partner expectations while building long term, sustainable relationships.
This is a client facing role that has the responsibility of managing several clients within the Major Accounts Portfolio. You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality services in line with our administration agreements, other contractual or stated commitments and value add offerings.
In this role you will:
- Develop joint annual and long term business/account plans for each partnership
- Identify, design and deliver new strategic initiatives to support the partner grow in line with business/account plans
- Support TAL and the partner with legislative change and advocating to the industry
- Negotiate, deliver and/or monitor commercial terms that achieve joint goals where relevant
- Work with the partner to implement new propositions, member engagement on insurance, and digital solutions
- Deliver excellent service through oversight of insightful reporting, and act as an escalation point for service escalations
- Create and manage internal structures to ensure TAL business units are accountable for delivery
- Identify, assess, and deliver strategic initiatives to grow the partnership in line with agreed business plans
- Lead discussions on product design change
- Attend Industry Conferences as required
Qualifications
- Strong relationship management and negotiation/influencing capabilities
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the Superannuation industry
- Comprehensive knowledge/experience of the group life insurance industry
- Strong commercial acumen
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
