Job Description

As a Business Analyst within the Claims environment, you will provide strategic business analysis services that are critical to our success. Your primary focus will be to collaborate closely with stakeholders, gaining a deep understanding of our processes, services, and the broader context in which the Claims business operates. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving regulatory and strategic business initiatives within Claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis Excellence: Conduct detailed analyses to identify challenges, opportunities, and solutions that enhance our business.
  • Project Leadership: Lead small to medium-sized projects, and support the Process Improvement and Automation Manager on more complex initiatives related to the Claims Strategic Roadmap.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Utilize your strong stakeholder management skills to deliver comprehensive business analysis services that drive value across the Claims Business Unit.

This role is part of the Claims Effectiveness team and works closely with multiple business units and IT teams to ensure the successful delivery of project benefits.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst or similar role - Strong problem solving capability
  • Experience in Process Design and documentation
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collate and analyse process data to derive benefit outcome
  • Ability to identify root causes and discover possible solutions
  • Skilled in Microsoft Suite tools including Visio, Excel (Advance), & Power BI preferable
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or similar discipline
  • Six sigma certification and working knowledge of project management methodology (preferred) - Life Insurance experience (preferred)
