Job Description

  • 12 month fixed term contract

The Claims Policy & Communications Consultant is responsible for the development, maintenance and implementation of best-in class collateral required to support claims handling and settling activities in line with regulatory requirements. 

The key accountability of this 12-month project role will be to support in Claims correspondence delivery into our digital platform.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Working directly with Continuous Delivery and Claims Effectiveness to support correspondence transformation delivery activities.
  • Management of letter and form catalogues.
  • Management of the due diligence process relating to claims collateral.
  • Assuring key regulatory and Life Insurance Code of Practice compliance requirements are delivered as collateral is transformed into digital platform.
  • Administration of change briefing sessions as required.
  • Developing key stakeholder relationships to ensure the best service is delivered to customers.
  • Staying abreast of internal and external developments so that future impacts on the business can be identified.
  • Management of the Policy & Communications inbox.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Life Insurance Claims, or similar role with exposure to correspondence, guideline, or procedure drafting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines in a professional manner.
  • Well-developed self-management skills including planning, prioritising, and time management.
  • Highly organised individual with diligence in details.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Well-developed analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • An enthusiastic approach to work and willingness to help with tasks at hand.
  • Ability to familiarise oneself with relevant business unit and enterprise procedures, policies and guidelines and review their application.
  • Proficient level of skill using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
