Job Description

The Squad NIMS Core / HSS-FE, as part of Tribe Voice & Messaging, is responsible for the complete lifecycle of DT Technik IMS HSS Frontend platforms, enabling and maintaining connectivity between IMS nodes and backend subscriber databases.

The Squad uses agile tools and methods as a DevOps team, and is responsible for the design, engineering, development, deployment, and operation of the HSS-FE in close cooperation with the system vendor.

One of the next big challenges for the team is to build up a new OneHSS platform based on DT Technik’s CaaS Kubernetes platform as part of DT Technik’s Cloud Booster Program. To accompany us on this challenging journey, we are looking for a committed and motivated colleague to strengthen our team. Focus is increasing the automation rate for tests, ensure a complete and automated patch management and generate a very stable and secure infrastructure.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Understanding of telecommunications protocols: SIP, Diameter, LDAP
  • Automation and CI/CD: GitLab CI, AWX, TF
  •  Programming languages: Python, Bash, YAML/JSON
  •  Knowledge of cloud-native technologies (containers, Kubernetes, Helm)
  •  Monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)

Qualifications

Must-have Requirements: 

  • Solid understanding of telecommunications protocols (SIP, Diameter, LDAP).
  • Experience with automation and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, AWX, Terraform).
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages: Python, Bash, and YAML/JSON.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native technologies: containers, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Experience working in DevOps and agile environments is a plus.
  • Ability to contribute to a stable, secure, and highly automated infrastructure.
