Responsibilities and Duties

• Lifecycle and maintance of ATLAAS container infrstructure
• Ressources build on DT internal Openstack platform
• Multiple Docker container, orchestrated with Kubernetes (Rancher, Istio, ..)
• Prodution, test, and reference environments
• Interface to build on Microservices for DT internal customers
• Automated deployment, redundancy, desaster recovery, incident management
• Open to further training and self-development.

Must-have requirements
1.) Expertise (hands-on in-depth knowledge) in:
  - System Fundamentals (Linux, CLI, bash)
  - Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)
  - Container Management (Docker)
  - Deployment Management (Helm and Kustomize)
2.) Proficiency (strong understanding) in:
  - VCS (GitHub or GitLab)
  - CI/CD (Kaniko or Buildah)
  - GitOps (Flux or ArgoCD)
  - Spoken and written English
3.) Practical experience (operational confidence) in:
  - Networking (TCP/IP, DNS)
  - Web (HTTP, TLS)

Nice-to-have requirements
4.) Practical experience (operational confidence) in:
  - Authentication (Keycloak/OAuth2)
  - Secrets Management (External Secrets Operator + any vault)
5.) Familiarity (general understanding) with:
  - Visualization (Grafana, Kibana, or similar solutions)
  - Data Processing (Extract Transform Load pipelines)
  - Spoken and/or written German
 
An ideal candidate would be an experienced Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or someone with equivalent knowledge after minimum 3 years in operating and/or building services over Kubernetes.
