Project description:
In the department of 'Customer Experience' we are responsible to keep the quality of our cellular mobile network throughout Germany at the highest level and to always be one step ahead of the competition. To reach this target we search for a Data Engineer. You will work closely with mobile service experts. The goal is to make optimal use of the existing data to find (proactive) problems in our mobile service chains, analyze the causes and support colleagues. Furthermore, perform data analysis for specific management or project demand as well as to improve the customer experience by our own. 

Activity description and concrete tasks:
• Analytics Engineer: development of sustainable and effective data models and data products
• Realize and run pipelines and data connections; perform data validaton
• Build and connect interfaces
• Automated provision and pre-processing of various data sets
• Developing innovative and data-driven solutions that provide tangible added value for our customers and our internal interfaces in mobile radio and service context
• Integrate solutions in an End-to-End autmation plattform to solve nation wide mobile network problems
• Ensure the delivery of agreed-upon KPIs.

Qualifications

Skill requirements:
• Advanced experiences with Google Cloud Platfom (GCP) - DBT modelling, AirFlow, DataFlow, DataProc
• Enhanced experiences in Data Engineering (ETL, validation, analysis, deductions)
• Big Data skills in Elastic Search, Python, Hadoop, PySpark, ...
• Expert knowledge in building pipelines and as well es automated provisioning and pre-processing of various data sets
• Knowledge of IT interfaces (e.g. RestAPI)
• MicroStrategy MSTR Modelling Experience
• Experiences in DevOps tools for automation solutions (Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Virtualization, Cloud environments, …)
• Able to identify and solve problems independently
• Structured and independent work style, as well as a high sense of responsibility
• Good team player
• Good communication skills
