Squad CICD - YaRD
YaRD "Yet another Release Distribution" is the secure and reliable mirror of MCICD in DT Technik networks. Based on the main tools Gitlab and Artifactory we are availible at several locations running on Kubernetes.
Activity description and concrete tasks:
- deploying and maintaining infrastructure and YaRD applications in google cloud
- operating the clusters (tcaas and gcp) and pro-active treatment of application alerts (Troubleshooting / informing customers)
- updating the public user guide and be in contact with customers via support desk and userchat
- use existing monitoring for pro-actively observe issues which can affect customers
- expand existing monitoring and also include GCP environment
- weekly maintenance responsibility (maintenance windows) of our applications in the kubernetes cluster
- writing scripts & tools for DevOps enhancement
- work in agile team - join actively in daily and 3-weekly scrum ceremonies + weekly tech sessions
- on call duty (currently voluntary, later mandatory)
Qualifications
Mandatory skills:
- Good knowledge of container and cloud technologies (and their lifecycle) (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Flux) and related tools
- GitOps
- Experience in maintaining a system and proactively reacting to and resolving faults
- bash and/or python scripting experience
- working in agile teams, english fluent spoken/written
- feel responsible for the service you are providing
Optional skills:
- Terrafrom
- Grafana / Prometheus
- TCaaS (Das SCHIFF, Germany)
- Hyperscaler / Public Cloud
