We are currently looking for a Senior Backup Engineer in Iberia (ideally in Reus or Granada) to be a Platform Engineer member as a leader in the development of storage and backup solutions with integration with private/public cloud solutions.

The vacancy is exclusively open to locations in Reus, Granada, Seville or Malaga.

Your main duties/responsibilities will be:

• New HW/SW products selection, integration y standarization
• Development of complex solutions at low deep level
• Architecture analysis and development of new ones on Platform Engineering/Data landscape
• Solution project estimatin and effort calculation process involvement
• Presales supports (only technical)
• Delivery elements portfolio evolution and development 

Indispensable requirements:

• Knowledge in:
  • Veritas Netbackup 
  • Veeam Backup
  • Commvault
• Experience in high/low level design in data management solutions
• Skills in technical presentation

Desirable:

• Experience in international projects
• Knowledge in:
  • Datadomain
  • Exagrid
  • Dataprotector
  • Lenovo backup suite
  • Netapp arrays (CDOT)
  • Hitachi arrays
  • Object Storage
  • Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)
