We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect – Security & Cybersecurity to lead the design of secure cloud architectures, define robust security policies, and implement best practices across our cloud environments. This role requires deep technical expertise in cloud security, a strategic mindset, and hands-on experience across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud architectures aligned with organizational goals.
• Define and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Evaluate and apply best practices for data protection, identity and access management, and threat mitigation across cloud platforms.
• Conduct risk assessments and design mitigation strategies for infrastructure and application layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, infrastructure, and compliance to ensure secure cloud deployment.
• Lead cloud security audits and proactively identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and cloud security design.
• Proven expertise in one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• In-depth understanding of cloud-native security tools, identity & access management (IAM), firewalls, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and automation for secure deployments.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and cloud workload protection platforms (CWPP).
• Experience in incident response and disaster recovery planning in cloud environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
