The Global Business Practice SAP serves more than 600 T-Systems customers with a wide range of SAP-related IT services.
From SAP Managed Services on our own Private and hyperscaler Public Cloud platforms, to implementations and transformations, to consulting on future SAP strategy, the digitization of business processes, security and sustainability – we offer our customers everything related to SAP from a single source.
Official support for SAP versions prior to S/4HANA will end at the end of 2027.
How should SAP users position themselves for the future? How should they optimize their supply chains and logistics processes and make them fit for the future?

The SAP Portfolio Management team defines and is responsible for the offerings we provide to our external customers throughout the entire life cycle.
As a team, we are also responsible for the overall SAP portfolio within T-Systems across the Cloud Services and Digital divisions.

Your responsibilities Together with the team of offering managers, you are responsible for the further development of our portfolio around the Application Maintenance, Support and Modernization for SAP (SAP AMS).
You are the driver who also takes an end-to-end view in the design of your offering, ranging from ERP or S/4HANA project implementations and the corresponding transformations of the enterprise architecture to cloud-based SAP operation.
Your tasks include the determination and clarification of current and possible future requirements for the processes around SAP AMS, the definition and (further) development of suitable services, the definition of marketable service levels and efficient delivery models, as well as the selection of appropriate partners and suitable tools.
This requires continuous coordination with Sales and close cooperation between the AMS Delivery Units so that SAP Applications Management can be successfully offered on the market and delivered profitably.
In addition, we are specifically interested in your outside view based on your experience at partners and customers outside of T-Systems.
You will be responsible for the creation of related service descriptions, calculation tools, GoToMarket strategies, customer and sales presentations as well as the preparation and implementation of target group-oriented training for Sales and Service Delivery Managers. In addition, you are responsible for planning and implementing measures for the further enhancement of the SAP AMS Offering as part of the Portfolio Strategy & Innovation process and for the complete mapping of the Offering in the current Offering Management Lifecycle tools.
Your profile: For this position, you must have successfully completed a post graduate degree in management, business information or computer science, with more than 10+ years in SAP consulting.
You have extensive proven knowledge of SAP Application Management Service and Support and the associated processes (e.g. user help desk, incident and problem management and change management).
You have at least 5 years of experience as the responsible Service Manager for AMS services for large customers.
As a result, you have acquired proven expert knowledge in the following areas: •
SAP Application Management Services in a factory-based approach with highest SLA requirements •
SAP Solution Manager
Automate AMS processes with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and Bots
• DevOps in the SAP context and integration with Application Management and Operation Processes
• Good knowledge in the field of Machine Learning for automatic detection, assignment and (partially) automated solution of incidents, as well as in the field of knowledge management or experience in SAP Operations (Managed Services) are an advantage.
• You have an excellent network and know contact persons in the relevant communities and with partners.
• You have a good understanding of the SAP product portfolio, also with regard to the new and innovative SAP topics.
• You always have Customer Satisfaction in mind. Good is not good enough for you.
You are constantly looking for ways to further improve SAP Application Support, make it more efficient and faster – and our customers happy!
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, the drive to expand your knowledge at any time as well as a high degree of initiative and strong entrepreneurial thinking and acting characterize you.
